Kalyani
Natarajan
began her acting career as a Tamil theatre actress in Mumbai. After a few
advertisement assignments, she made her transition to films.
Her debut role on
the big screen was a cameo in the Tamil movie Settai
(which was a remake of Delhi Belly). She went on to perform the
role of Imran Khan's sister-in-law in Dharma Productions' Gori Tere Pyaar Mein.
However, what
gave a boost to her career was her performance as Nassar's
daughter Meenakshi in the 2014 release Saivam,
which won her a lot of acclaim. Her latest role in the film Pisaasu, where she was seen playing the role of the
mother of the protagonist, was highly appreciated.
Kalyani has been
a part of TV commercials for high profile brands like Colgate, Whisper, Odonil, Muthoot Gold Loan and GRB Ghee.
