
URVASHI RAUTELA –
Film Actress
Urvashi Rautela (born February
25, 1994) is from Kotdwar in Uttarakhand and she attended the New York Film Academy's School of Film and
Acting.
Rautela made her
modeling debut at Wills Lifestyle India Fashion Week
and Lakme Fashion Week in 2011 as a teen Supermodel
and appeared in TV and print ads for Lakmé Cosmetics, Ozel Lifestyle, Bhima
Gold, LG, Grasim, Grohe and Levi's before shifting to pageants. In 2009, she
was crowned Miss Teen India by the outgoing titleholder Koyal Rana,
Miss Teen India 2008. The pageant was mentored by Miss World
1997 Diana Hayden. In 2011, she won the title of
"Miss Asian Supermodel 2011" in South Korea.
She then competed in “Miss Tourism Queen of the year International” and won the
title. She became the youngest winner in the history of the pageant.
Rautela pursued
a career as a model until she became an actress. At age 18, she starred
opposite Sunny Deol
in the film Singh Saab The Great. She has appeared
in Yo Yo Honey Singh's international video album
"Lovedose" which released in October 2014. Rautela will star as the
protagonist of Airavata, an action love story opposite Darshan Thoogudeep. She has also signed three
movie deal with T-Series.
