SASI KALINGA – Film Actor

Kalinga Sasi was born as Chandrakumar to Chandrasekharan Nair and Sukumari at Kunnamangalam, Kozhikode. He had his primary education from St. Joseph's Boys' Higher Secondary School, Kunnamangalam and diploma in Automobile Engineering from Govt I.T.I Kozhikode.

He has emerged as a major supporting actor in Malayalam cinema . He has performed serious roles in titles such as "Paleri Manikyam: Oru Pathirakolapathakathinte Katha" (2009) directed by Ranjith, "Pranchiyettan & the Saint"(2010) directed by Ranjith, "Indian Rupee" (2011) directed by Ranjith, Salim Ahamed's national award winning film and the only Malayalam films to be sent by India as its official entry for the Best Foreign Language Film category at the Academy Awards "Adaminte Makan Abu" (Abu, Son of Adam)(2011) and blockbuster "Amen"(2013 film).

He is married to Prabhavathi.
