
MOHIT MARWAH – Film Actor
Mohit Marwah (born 26
August 1987) is the eldest son of the founder of Noida Film
City Sandeep Marwah and Reena Marwah. He is also the grandson of the
film producer Surinder Kapoor. He is a nephew of the producer
Boney Kapoor,
actors Anil Kapoor,
Sridevi
and Sanjay Kapoor.
He is a cousin of the currently popular actors Arjun Kapoor
and Sonam Kapoor
and the young film producer Rhea Kapoor. Mohit Marwah attended Don
Bosco School and University of Delhi for his formal education.
He joined Asian Academy of Film & Television
for Diploma in Filmmaking.
Thereafter, Mohit Marwah was accepted by Vikram Bhatt as his
assistant director. After gathering field experience Mohit Marwah decided to
specialize in acting and proceed to New York to join Lee Strasberg Acting
School.
On returning to India, he acted in a short film "The
Audition" produced by Akshay Marwah, directed by Karan Boolani and music
supervised by Amit Trivedi. He also did a short film later produced by Karan
Johar called "Strangers in the night" presented by Dharma Productions
and Directed by Shakun Batra.
Soon
thereafter, he was signed by Akshay Kumar for his feature film Fugly opposite Kiara Advani
which released on June 13, 2014.
