NYLA USHA – Radio Jockey/Film Actress

Nyla Usha is a radio jockey in Hit 96.7, which is a Malayalam radio station in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. She was born to Sri Gopakumar & Srimati Usha Kumari, from aristocratic family in Travancore. She has a sister Athira & brother Kannan. She studied in Holy Angels Convent, and then in All Saints Trivandrum.

She makes her debut in the award winning director Salim Ahamed's – “Kunjananthante Kada” opposite Mammootty. Nyla plays the part of Mammootty's wife in 'Kunjananthante Kada', which is the story of a mismatched couple. 

Though, her first movie is yet to release, she  will be playing the female lead in Jayasurya starrer – “Punyalam Agarbathies” directed by Ranjith Shankar. She will also play the heroine’s part in “Onnum Mindathe” beind directed by Sugeethm  opposite Jayaram.

She is married to Rona Rajan & has a child Arnaav.
