Akshara Gowda (born Harini
Gowda on 24 December 1989 in Bangalore,
Karnataka) is an Indian film actress who has appeared in Hindi and Tamil
films.
Akshara made a
special appearance in Thuppakki and
played a role in Priyadarshan's Rangrezz.
She was also
seen and appeared topless in Chitkabrey - The Shades of Grey
which was promoted as the "boldest Indian film made".
Akshara is
heading to Bollywood
with a romantic comedy opposite John Abraham
and another film that is supposedly on the lines of Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
She also is a
model and has appeared for several advertisements under leading brands.
She has been
signed up for Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu's next with director Sukumar.
Akshara Gowda was in news for her
closeness with Yuvraj Singh, whom she met when he was playing for IPL in South
Africa.
