AKHIL KAPUR – Film Actor
Akhil Kapur – born on 26th
October 1985, is the nephew of actor Vinod Khanna,
and cousin of actors Rahul Khanna and Akshaye
Khanna. He trained in acting and film making at the New York Film Academy and the Lee Strasberg Theatre and Film
Institute. He will make his debut in Anand Kumar's upcoming movie Desi Kattey.
He started his career as an assistant director on
films such as Salaam-e-Ishq: A Tribute to Love
(2007) and Race (2008) and also
assisted director Reema Kagti and producer Zoya Akhtar on Honeymoon Travels
Pvt. Ltd (2007)
Akhil is a mixed martial arts specialist and has
trained under various fighting forms including Karate, Kung Fu, Brazilian
Jujitsu, Krav Maga, and Muay Thai. He is the co-founder of India Fight Factory,
a martial arts and security services company.
